Geology Field Research Trip

March 18, 2015

Laurie Munger's Geology class did their annual creek transect at the confluence of the Sisquoc River and Manzana Creek in the San Rafael Wilderness.  From ancient geological processes such as uplift to the more recent formation of an alluvial fan near Wheat Peak to the mud drapes formed when water last flowed in this creekbed, this trip, too marked an era - that of Munger field geology at Midland.  See photo album of the trip.
