Guest Speaker-Chef Pink

Last Sunday CHEF PINK aka Crystal DeLongpré and her wife, Courtney Rae DeLongpré, owners of local restaurant Bacon and Brine gave a lecture at Midland entitled NOSE TO TAIL EATING.

The DeLongprés discussed how important it is to utilize the whole animal when consuming meat as part of a diet and advised on how to create zero waste with whole animal butchery, while ensuring maximum nutrition. Bacon and Brine, and Chef Pink, have been featured in many articles, including in the Huffington Post, and the Santa Barbara Independent. Chef Pink was featured on the Food Network in Cutthroat Kitchen, a popular television show.
