As a boarding-only school, Midland creates the time and continuity for teenagers to form real relationships, take responsibility, and experience the joy of shared traditions, play, and daily life together. When Midland students show up in college classrooms, they stand out. Our graduates know how to think for themselves, write with clarity, take responsibility, and stay engaged when learning gets challenging. Midlanders go on to colleges such as Middlebury College and University of California, Berkeley, and into paths that span science, engineering, design, food systems, education, and the arts. After college, alumni continue to build meaningful, self-directed professions that range from Forbes 30 Under 30–recognized careers to meaningful, grounded work in communities at home and abroad.
