Bella is excited to begin her time at Midland because she is passionate about connecting young people with the natural world and helping them think about their impact. She believes that the environmental and social challenges that we face are deeply intertwined and she looks forward to engaging with students to hear their ideas about how we navigate these issues in the future.   Bella loves to be in or near the ocean whether it’s SCUBA diving, snorkeling, surfing, boogie boarding, or tidepooling. Her favorite underwater place is a Catalina Island kelp forest and her favorite sea creature changes daily. She also loves being on a trail and is excited to learn more about the wildflowers in the Midland area.

Bella’s love for the outdoors is matched only by her love of food and thinks that eating is the best part of travelling. Her favorite food destinations so far have been Vietnam and Mexico and she dreams of eating her way through Istanbul, Turkey one day.
