Support our Trails

From the steep hike up Grass Mountain to the gorgeous views from Lover’s Loop, hiking on Midland’s property never disappoints. As a biodiversity hotspot and home of unique geologic features, our trails are a world of wonders. Keep your eye out for the Santa Barbara Jewelflower, one of the rarest annual plants in North America, look for the 100 million-year-old fault that runs through the area and watch & listen for the diverse wildlife that inhabits this land. The Midland School trails are managed and maintained in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Trails Council. Please consider supporting our efforts to maintain these trails for all to enjoy!

Before you go, remember to obtain a permit by following the process outlined below, check our trail status and reach out with any questions. See you on the trails!
