In the early days, Midland was here because of the plans and dreams of Paul and Louise Squibb, and the visionary faculty members and staff who joined them in building a school like no other: a school that met the needs of the moment. These days, Midland is here because of you. As we look up the road to Midland’s 100th year, this is still a school like no other. Midland is a school that meets the world’s needs today more than ever. All schools go on existing because alumni support the school through work, financial support, time and expert guidance. In this moment, as Midland is required to respond to the changing requirements of the world around us, we are counting on you.
We need you!
Share Your Pan-Abode & Showerfire Stories
Help us remember and capture their iconic legacies
Whether you vividly remember the day you helped to build a pan-abode cabin, endured cold showers after a showerfire mishap, or have a fond memory of late night snacks in your cabin with your roommate, we want to hear & record your stories! We’d love to add any photos your might have of the pan-abodes or stories of mischief in the showerfire tank (we promise not to give you laps for it!) to the Midland archive so that future Midlanders can always look back and remember this important part of Midland’s history. Share you story with us via the link below or give us a call at 805.688.5114! We can’t wait to hear from you.
Celebrate with us!
Get on the early-invite list for our ribbon-cutting ceremony
We’re looking forward to the day that we can invite you and your fellow Midlanders back onto campus, safely, to celebrate the thoughtful installation of new bathrooms, cabins and faculty homes onto Midland’s campus. Though we’re not entirely sure when that time will be, given current gathering restrictions required by the pandemic and our construction timeline, we are hopeful that it will be soon. Be sure to get on the early-invite list for our ribbon-cutting ceremony to stay in the loop and be the first to know when our plans are finalized!
