Amy is both thrilled and honored to work at Midland School and contribute her skills and experience to ensure Midland’s enduring legacy. Coming to work every day is an adventure and opportunity. She gets to observe the resourcefulness and hard work of our students both in and out of the classroom. She also gets to work with bright, interesting, and kind people and to solve challenging problems, large and small, that make a difference to the educational experience of our students. She is rewarded by the magical, natural beauty of our campus and the delicious food fresh from our garden. What a gift to be part of such a warm, thoughtful, and supportive community!

Amy has one beloved dog, a mini Aussie Shepherd named Leon, who is Main House royalty. Her favorite spot on Midland’s campus is Chapel, because of its history and traditions, and her favorite Midland garden food is heirloom tomatoes, because she loves fresh tomato sauce and tomato salads — especially with burrata and fresh basil! Amy has travelled from coast to coast and across the world, but her favorite places are Paris, France, and anywhere with wild animals, for example Kenya, Costa Rica and the Galapagos. Despite her many talents on Midland’s campus, there is one skill that most people don’t know about — it’s that she used to coach youth basketball and even played it herself in middle and high school!
