As an educator and relationship-builder, Jasmine believes that learning should be both real and rooted—experienced through doing, reflection, and community. She first discovered Midland over a decade ago when a friend’s daughter attended and has admired the school ever since. In Midland, she found a place that invites re-wilding and discovery—a return to simplicity, purpose, and connection with the natural world through experiential learning. On Midland’s 3,000-acre living classroom, she sees education that cultivates competence, character, and stewardship in equal measure. Jasmine has spent nearly three decades working across progressive, Waldorf, and international schools, as well as place-based outdoor and experiential programs. A certified teacher with an MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Portland, she is passionate about connecting people’s values with opportunities that make transformative education possible. When she isn’t welcoming families or sharing Midland’s story, Jasmine can be found enjoying time with friends, family, and her two children, Ethan and Sophia, surrounded by nature, art, and horses—gardening, exploring the California coast, and creating with her hands.
