Tristan and his wife Kimberly came to live and work at Midland School a couple of years ago because they wanted to raise their children in a community that encourages engagement with the outdoors and teaching through experiential learning. They love how many of Midland’s values are in line with their own, such as the importance of thoughtful risk taking and or an appreciation for the powerful lessons of “failure”. Marry this with getting to live back in beautiful Santa Barbara County, the place that Tristan is from, he feels so privileged to call Midland his home.
